A replica I made of Hagrid's umbrella from the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and again Briefly in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011).
Materials used:
Child's pink umbrella, Wooden Curtain Rod dowel, wood colored plastic enamel, sealant adhesive and electrical tape.
Painted the tip of the umbrella with plastic enamel to give it a chipped, wooden wand end. Attached the metal base of the shaft into the wooden dowel with an internal metal rod, sealant adhesive, electrical tape and plainted plastic enamel. I made it dirty and worn like in the movie using chimney soot. Cost of project: $30
