Star Trek: Nemesis, HERO Close-up Type 3 Phaser Rifle

Type 3 Phaser Rifle used in Nemesis. I have located three instances where you can clearly see this rifle on the Bluray version of the movie. Acquired originally from IAW and two subsequent owners.

USES:

The first rifle removed from the rack during Red Alert sequence. There is a paint masking error just forward of the trigger guard clearly visible.

Used for close-up power cell check. Scratches and buff marks on top of the power cell cover match exactly as well as the wonk above the power meter.

And used by Picard when he arms himself to beam over to Shinzon's ship and whoop his ass. The battery cover has 3 holes for screws that can be seen on-screen. The hole on the left side of the plate and on the far right contain screws. The hole just to the left of the one on the right has no screw and there is no material under the hole to put a screw into. This leads me to believe that its a misdrilled hole. The shadow created by the uneven surface (from buffing a piece of aluminum with holes in it) in the screen cap points to the unused hole. The cupped surface around the hole on the right is visible as well. I will attempt to photgraph my plate again to capture these surface flaws. All of these holes were drilled by hand and are in different locations from rifle to rifle.
