Labyrinth, Goblin Sword
original movie prop
In 1986, the magical fantasy movie Labyrinth introduced the world to a set of unforgettable goblins from the minds of Jim Henson and Brian Froud. The film revolves around Sarah Williams (Jennifer Connelly) quest to find the way through an enormous otherworldly maze so that she can rescue her little brother, Toby, from Jareth the Goblin Kind (David Bowie). This is a screen matched Goblin sword used in the film by one of the goblin puppets. Made of a very light material, this would assist the puppeteer to allow him to act with the sword while being able to hold it with ease.
