The Wizard of Oz, Glinda the Good Witch inspired shoes

These are a pair of Glinda inspired shoes which I created using a vintage pair of 1920s ladies suede flapper shoes with Louis heel. These shoes are similar in shape and design to a pair of shoes allegedly worn by Billie Burke during the production, which were auctioned by Julien’s Auction House in 2014. The shoes were covered by hand with thousands of Swarovski Rose Peach and Crystal AB rhinestones. While Glinda’s shoes are never seen in the film, these shoes represent my imagining of the kind of shoes she might have worn.
