Star Trek: The Next Generation, Geordi's Engineering PADD (Season 7)

This is a reproduction, done by me, of the specialized Engineering PADD (Personal Access Display Device) used by Geordi Laforge in the final season of the series.

Many hours were spent pouring over screen caps, as well as referring to the few close-up pics available of the screen-used piece, to ensure this replica was as close to screen-accurate as possible.

Build comprised of a hand-cut Sintra (PVC) core with styrene added to the front and back for the recessed panels and other details. Screen-accurate graphics were custom made to accompany this piece.

As the unusual colours used for the screen-used original were hand-mixed by the Prop Dept., it is not possible to source equivalent paints. Therefore, the colours used for this build are the closest approximation with currently available off-the-shelf paints.
