They are made out of heavy resin and the blade is made of a kind of soft resin, foam. Remember that the metal ones were rarely used on set because they can easily hurt anyone. Probably, they were used often and the tips are bent from fighting scenes. These sais come with a COA from the \\\\\\\"It\\\\\\\'s a Wrap!\\\\\\\" US auction. Renée O\\\\\\\'Connor and her stunt double used sais in most of the action sequences of the fifth and sixth season.
