Moon, GERTY 3000 computer
made from scratch movie prop
A from scratch-built replica of the GERTY 3000 computer from moon (2009). It features a motion sensor, based on which it responds with random sound clips from the movie, while displaying the animated faces, the Gerytcons. It also features offline voice recognition, based on which it can respond to some movie dialogue ("Where am I?", "Am I a clone?"), turn on the lights, display the news, weather, or date/time information, or start a tea timer.
