Titanic, G - 40 Room Number Plaque

A room number plaque used in the 1997 James Cameron Oscar winning epic drama Titanic. Numbered plates such as these can be seen on the cabin doors of the rooms throughout the movie set aboard the ill-fated “unsinkable” ship, following the story of young lovers Rose (Kate Winslet) and Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio).

It is made from an oval piece of wood with bevelled edges and painted white with a golden yellow ring around the outside and two holes either side where it was secured to the door. Measures 9cm x 5.5cm (3.5” x 2.25”) and in excellent production used condition.
