The Boxtrolls, Fish Puppet

A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. The 2014 Laika stop motion film The Boxtrolls is based on the children's novel “Here Be Monsters” by Alan Snow. This is an original screen used replacement face puppet of naked Fish, from the climax of the movie when Snatcher attempts to execute all of the Boxtrolls (an escape plan is hatched in which they have to rid themselves of their signature boxes). This is a hysterical naked puppet of Fish with amazing detail to his skin and bone structure. Measuring approximately 10”, when you look at this puppet closely, you really see the artistry of LAIKA.
