Friday the 13th, Filming Location Fragments
original set dressing / pieces
This 4 feet wide self made display contains original large fragments from the main cabin and swimming dock from the blockbuster movie Friday the 13th (the original part one). Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco (or “No-Be” for short) is a thriving Boy Scout Camp tucked away in the hills of northwestern New Jersey. The camp opened in 1927, making it the oldest continuously operating Scout camp in New Jersey. It was also the filming location of one of the most iconic horror movies of all time "Friday the 13th" in 1980. A major restoration project in 2009 resolved issues with a number of rotten or infested logs. A few of the replaced logs were saved from this project and cut into slices for collectors. Also the swimming docks eventually were replaced. This section of dock board is cut from the second (and last) remaining swim dock. It still has some of the white paint on it. The "Crystal Lake" sign is signed by Robbi Morgan who played "Annie" and got killed in the beginning of the movie and he main cabin log slice is signed by Ron Millkie, Robbie Morgan, Ari Lehman and Jeannine Taylor. The machete is signed by ten actors who played the legendary "Jason" character in the franchise.
