Metal plated,string-mail coif and gloves, this stuff was heavily used in tv, cinema and theatre for over 60 years as a lightweight alternative to actors wearing real chainmail.
Robin of Sherwood used it heavily for all three years.I have two original, production used coif hoods that came directly from the same place as the costumes.
An extra coif and gloves comes directly from the man who supplied the production and just about every Robin Hood film in the last 40 years.
