I scratch-built this ray gun inspired by the Martian ray guns used in the movie serial FLASH GORDON'S TRIP
TO MARS. The body of the replica is polycarbonate pipe, the grip is hand cut styrene sheet. The replica is equipped with a simple buzzing sound effect and a very bright yellow LED for the ray. I particularly like this
old movie prop because it was so original and unique in its design, especially the 'salt-shaker' grip.
