The Ernie Kovacs Show, Ernie Kovacs Puppet

A large arm puppet with movable mouth and a tubed special effects cigar that blows smoke of the famed comedian. The puppet was used on the April 23, 1956 episode of THE ERNIE KOVACS SHOW (NBC) where Edie sings 'You're The Top' to a prop TV screen containing the Ernie puppet. After the song, Ernie himself pops up saying "It was me all the time". Donated to the Hollywood Entertainment Museum, by his widow Edie Adams, later sold for charity.
