Today, Ernest Bachrach (1899-1973) is revered as one of the finest still photographers in the history of film. Breaking into film at Paramount, traveling to FBO studios, who were one piece of the puzzle that became RKO in 1928, taking Bachrach with them. He spent the rest of his career there, retiring in 1954. He was honored with an Academy Award Medal in 1947. Showing is his camera case with the RKO stencil imprinted over the original FBO STUDIO one. On the top is the RKO triangle logo with the added CAMERA DEPT underneath. The front has a round Fort Benning Georgia decal most likely obtained while filming PARACHUTE BATTALION (1941). Also, his diamond added 25 year RKO pin.
