Biometrically-encoded ticket to an Ark, available only to a few hundred thousand wealthy and important people, chosen in secret to survive the Earth Crust Displacement apocalypse. Somehow, quite a few Hollywood movie production crewmembers (in this case, a prop master named Eric Partridge) managed to get on the list.
