In the episode "In a Mirror, Darkly". Captain Archer uses an un-modified Art Asylum toy phaser two straight out of the box. You can even see the screw holes in the phaser body. They used the original release version, which this is. The use of an un-modified toy phaser on screen turned this into a prop replica.
