A special effects heart from Tim Burton’s adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. This heart and others like it were used by Enoch O'Connor (Finlay MacMillan), who has the ability to bring inanimate objects to life by placing a heart within them. This special effects version was designed to contain a rig to simulate the beating of the heart. Made of slip latex, the heart features a realistic gloss red paint finish with painted vein detailing. A slit is cut up the back of the heart for the fitting of a beating mechanism, with Velcro within to secure the mechanism in place.
