this is a licensed mark 9 science tricorder peop made by efx. it is a signature edition #308 of 684. it is highly detailed and has a fair weight to it as it is made of mostly metal. When you open the unit all the leds come to life and the unit has the familiar ratchet sound when opened and closed. The unit comes with a nice display base. lowered number pieces come with a holster and display case. An interesting fact about this item is in later season of the big bang theroy if you look at the top shelf of the bookcases you will see this piece on set. This is an extremely rare and hard to find item because of the constrution and detail of the unit. It is a must have
