Drive, Driver's (Ryan Gosling) Screen Worn Shirt

This shirt was worn by the character “Driver” portrayed by actor Ryan Gosling in the 2011 motion picture “Drive”. The short sleeve white Henley shirt was worn under his mechanic's costume during the scene at Shannon's (Bryan Cranston) garage when "Irene" (Carey Mulligan) brings her car in to be repaired and Shannon volunteers Driver to take her and her son home. The shirt can also be seen in scenes when Driver is working on his car, as well as the memorable scene when he takes "Irene" (Carey Mulligan) and her son for a drive down to the L.A. river prior to taking them back to Irene’s apartment. The shirt is in screen used distressed condition and can be screen-matched perfectly to several scenes by the distinct grease stains that are present.  The distressed Henley shirt is also seen in one of the promotional posters for the film.  The mechanic's costume, including this shirt, was acquired directly from the production company and is accompanied by a costumer's tag and letter of authenticity from The Golden Closet.
