I Am Legend, Dr. Robert Neville’s (Will Smith) Stunt Mark 23 SOCOM Pistol (Airsoft)

Dr. Robert Neville (Will Smith) is using a Heckler & Koch Mark 23 with a flat earth (tan) frame as a sidearm.

He is seen with it holstered, but also carries one in the driver's door, using it to shoot the infected dogs in the middle of the film. There were several identical firing Mark 23s used on-set, as well as rubber versions for stunt work. For most scenes where Will Smith carried the weapon in the holster, a lightweight airsoft Mark 23 (with frame painted tan to match the firing pistols) was used.

This is the Airsoft version Will Smith uses to wear on the holster while not needing it to take it out. It features not only a faithful replica of the firing one but also all its functionality like trigger, hammer and working mag release lever. It features distress on the paint due to its intensive use in the production.
