The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Distressed Clippers from Leatherface's Basement
original movie prop
The set of clippers were used as set dressing in the basement of the Hewitt house, they have been intentially distressed to give them a more dark look, there are still light traces of blood on the handle.
Most all of the tools and furniture found in the basement and the rest of the Hewitt house were owned by the actual owners of the house the film was made in. The house has been abandon for decades and the crew was given permission to use anything inside of the house in the film, so long as it was disposed of after use.
The clippers come with a highly detailed LOA from a member of the crew and how and when they were aquired.
What makes this item very interesting is...its not only a movie prop used in the film, but its also a actual item that came from the house and had been there for decades.
