An Entertainment Earth Exclusive, this version comes with the extra Spock saying "Your signal is very weak; can you turn up your gain?"(which can be enabled on all of the DS comms with a little internal mod), a glossy black shell, and a shiny gold/brass metal antenna grill. The spinning moire is easy to see and is also very quiet. You have to really listen to hear it. Really comes across as a nice prop replica. Modeled after the Master Replicas communicator.
