Revan was a Human Jedi Knight who led the Republic to victory in the Mandalorian Wars, then left the galaxy and returned as a conquering Sith Lord. After he was betrayed and left for dead by his apprentice Darth Malak, he was saved and converted back to the light side by Bastila Shan, and then helped defeat the Sith Empire he himself had established.
