The Dark Crystal, Dark Crystal Shard and Map of Thra

The "Crystal Shard" is made out of real purple crystal through a private commission by a professional crystal manufacturer.
It measures 6 3/4" L x 1 7/8" W x 1" Thick. From the excellent RelicMaker.

The map of Thra doesn't appear on screen (I don't think so anyway) but is featured on a huge double page spread in The World of the Dark Crystal Book.  I used screencaps of the pages from Amazon.co.uk's book preview function, pasted the map image together, printed it at about A3 size, and traced the main features onto some heavily aged (tea/coffee stained) paper and inked over it and drew in the details. I then finished it off with a little coloured pencil colouring and carefully tore the edge and darkened it with brown and black felt tip pens.
