This is an excellent replica of the cryocan used in the First Jurassic Park film. This was made from machiened Aluminum just like the one seen on screen. This replica is one of the best made. There were a couple people making these, but this one is the most acurate. The bottom of the unit is caved in like a real shaving can with no screw on the bottom, unlike other replica's bottoms were flat and had a screw on the bottom in the center..

It has a spring loaded mechanisim inside and can operate just like the one on screen. A simple turn and it pops up to reveal the vials that have been correctly labled and have been filled with the exact color and thick consistancy Dino DNA. Also another rare feature on this replica is the Red or i should say Rust color rubber O-Ring around the bottom of the unit just like the screen used ones. Almost all of the replica's made had a black O-Ring which was not acurate to the screen used prop.

due to the Red O-Rings being disscontinued, they used black. So this replica is dead on. They are no longer produced and were made in a small private run of 20 cans. The quality is amazing. This all screws back into the can to be hidden of course!
