24, DAY 7 "WHITE HOUSE" MARBLE FLOOR TILE
original set dressing / pieces
This dark green swirled piece of floor tile was used on set during DAY 7 of the thrilling television series "24" starring Kiefer Sutherland. This piece of original set tile is approximately 2ft long by 1ft tall. The tiles can be seen in the White House lobby area where General Juma and his soliers held Jack Bauer, Bill Buchanan, and President Taylor hostage during the suspenseful standoff. Most of the main floor is light creme colored marble, but several large stripes and the entire floor border around the room are lined with this darker green floor tile. The tile is made out of particle board and was handpainted to resemble real marble by the 24 art department. This one-of-a-kind piece from the White House floor set was originally recovered and saved by 24s "Tool Man" Paul Nahale while striking (disassembling) the White House set after filming concluded. Paul Nahale was the "tool man" on all 8 seasons of 24. The back of the tile features a detailed handwritten COA by Mr. Nahale. This is the only known surviving documented set piece from the DAY 7 White House lobby ! Truly a special piece of 24 history.
