Chess pieces, scrapped together from pieces of ammunition and other hardware, seen in play just before the big confrontation between Toombs' mercs and the guards on triple-max prison planet Crematoria.

Larger style is all metal, with two visible onscreen.  Smaller prop is mostly metal with a plastic nosecone; this style is not clearly identified in this scene, and may actually have been used as a piece of merc gunner ammunition much earlier in the film.
