Most prominently used by the crimson-robed Royal Guards to keep potential threats to the Emperor's personal safety at a distance, the force pike was a melee weapon bearing a vibro-edged neuro-stun module in the head, capable of dropping virtually any organic or droid target instantaneously with just a touch.  Although the Controller FP from SoroSuub was the model favored by the Royal Guard, various other designs were widely used by planetary militias and police forces, primarily for crowd control.
