This a replica Communications Ear Receiver by HMS Creative Productions. Made of machined aluminum with a silicone earpiece as used by Lt. Uhura on the bridge of the Enterprise throughout the original 1960s Star Trek.

The original 1960s receivers were machined internally at Desilu Studios (only 3 known to exist) and molded to fit both Nichelle Nichols and Walter Koenig. The receiver would later appear in the Deep Space Nine episode “Trials and Tribble-Ations.” This replica is likely based on the props made for the Deep Space Nine recreation episode.
