This is the metal, ridgeless design used only during the scene where the crew is in their formal grey uniforms. The only actors who appear on-screen with these types of badges are Anton Yelchin and John Cho. Besides them, there are no shots in the film where these badges are utilized. This leads me to personally believe that this badge was used by one of them. In the BTS footage, there are a few identifying features that seem to match between my badge and the one John Cho is wearing, including that the design on the badge is slightly scewed to the right. It is a very special prop to me since I grew up admiring Michael Kaplan\\\'s work on the series and specifically the badge designs.
