After newly decanted clones are medically inspected, they're 'tagged' with this device, which leaves a laser-etched ID on their wrists, and then shipped to the Foundation for growth and conditioning.
Multipart metal device, rigged for blue illumination as seen onscreen although this is currently nonfunctional.
