Star Trek: The Next Generation, Clay Maquette for TNG's "Realm of Fear"

This clay maquette is one of three different versions, that were built from Dan Curry's design by model maker and sculptor Carey Howe as first draft for the creature in TNG's episode "Realm of Fear".
Executive Producer Rick Berman eventually selected this one that Howe then made larger in Latex with a partial fiber glass core and that Curry did the green screen puppeteering with.
