This is a replica (based on the movie prop) of the two plastic key cards from "The City of Ember". One card was worn around the mayor of Ember's neck, while the other was sealed inside a box that would not open for 200 years.
When the two cards are combined, they create a key necessary to escape the City of Ember.
I created this prop using a strip of clear acrylic, a dremel and a hobby knife.
