Citizen Kane, Charles Foster Kane's Snow Globe

This is a replica of the snow globe seen at the beginning of "Citizen Kane" (1941). It was dropped by the character, Charles Foster Kane, as he utters his famous last word, "Rosebud." In the movie, the snow globe had originally been owned by his second wife, Susan Alexander Kane, played by Dorothy Comingore. The little house, amidst all the snow, reminded Kane of his boyhood home.
