James Bond: The Living Daylights, Cello of the close-up shooting sequence
original movie prop
This is a very remarkable key-movie prop. It is a Cello from the James Bond movie "The Living Daylights" starring Timothy Dalton as James Bond. It was used for the close up shooting sequence during the famous winter-ride with the cello-case. This Cello is THE Cello which can be seen in the close up shot. At the back of the Cello was cut out a piece of the surface, so the fx-technicans could fire through the cello from the back, during filming from the front. The front-color has been bleached out a bit during the last 18 years and the surface also does have some additional scratches, which most likely came from storing after filming.
