Battlestar Galactica, Caution Tape - Custom Made

This was acquired in 2009 through a Propworx auction.

This is an un-used roll of caution tape identical to that used by Galactica’s repair crew to warn people of areas that are under repair or areas that are impassable. A three inch tall roll of white plastic tape of undetermined length. This is a custom roll of tape made for the show and designed by the art department. Item has red background with details, behind white text.

This can be most clearly seen in the First Season episode 'Tigh Me Up, Tigh Me Down'.

According to Propworx this was taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.

This item is still sealed in plastic, not sure if the plastic is from the set or from the prop house.
