Static resin and aluminum replica of a Borg arm-mounted energy weapon. Normal Borg have little use of such weapons, as their goal is to assimilate rather than kill. Under the influence of Data's evil twin Lore, a group of Borg individuals encountered in the two-part episode Descent had no interest in assimilating Federation personnel and technology, only in destroying them. Firing green energy bolts, these weapons could be easily removed from a Borg's arm and wielded by non-Borg.
