An anthology series that follows different chapters of the Midnight Society, a group of teenagers who gather at midnight to tell scary stories, such as the Carnival of Doom and the Curse of the Shadows. From Season 2 of the 2020 series Are you Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of Shadows, this is the one and only Book of Shadows used throughout the series; inside it includes various spells, symbols, and words  printed throughout the book. The Book of Shadows is a book that can do multiple spells and for a number of years it was in kept safely in possession of the Sardo family. In 1996, former lighthouse keeper Charlie Murphy used the book hoping it could bring his recently deceased daughter June back to life.
