This is an exceptionally rare screen worn prisoner shirt used by Mark Rolston in his infamous role as intimidating Shawshank prison bully Bogs Diamond, Inmate #31804. This long sleeve button-down distressed shirt from the earlier 1940s time period was worn in several scenes in the film including when Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) enters the prison dining hall and we see Bogs eating breakfast and setting his eyes on Andy for the first time as he walks past. Another interesting scene the shirt was worn in is when Andy is sent out from laundry duty to the equipment room to fetch extra washing powder and is sprung upon and attacked by Bogs and his gang the “Sisters”.

The inside label of the shirt has been marked by the film’s Costume and Wardrobe Department identifying the shirt as Bogs costume change #3 and the shirt is made by Five Brother clothing company, who along with Western Costume Company produced the film's costumes and wardrobe.
