All That Heaven Allows, Blouse/Halter Dress Repurposed

The bottom half of this dress was worn as a blouse by Jane Wyman in All The Heaven Allows. It includes the original Universal International label stitched into it with the name “Jane Wyman” written in ink on the inside. The blouse was later repurposed as a dress for another actress (G. Pelham) as often studios would do. A prime example of old Hollywood fashion and costuming.
