Star Trek: Voyager, Bio-Dampener

original movie prop

In 2353, exobiologists Magnus and Erin Hansen (Seven of Nine's parents) invent a device that allows extended undetected excursions aboard Borg vessels, as part of their daring, albeit illegal, anthropologic investigations into the Collective. Highlighted in fifth season two-part episode Dark Frontier, the Hansens' Bio-Dampener is subsequently replicated by the Voyager crew and used to camoflage their bio-signatures on a daring mission to steal a transwarp coil from a Borg sphere, and again later to infiltrate the Borg Unicomplex and rescue Seven of Nine from the Borg Queen.  (The device is seen yet again, repurposed, in episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise.)

Illuminating painted resin prop, with resin, plastic, and metal details.  Twin blinking yellow LEDs activated by a small switch on top.
