Star Trek: Voyager, Bio-Dampener/Transport Enhancer

This was made by Prop'er Effects and it was (or ones like it were) used in Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. Mine is a non-illuminating hero. In the Voyager episode 'Dark Frontie3r' this design of prop was used as a bio-dampener (aseveral were seen on screen at once and this is likely one of them); These were also used as a communicator in the Enterprise episode 'Precious Cargo'. A lighted version of the prop was used in two other Voyager episodes and a version painted a different color was yet another tech device in another Enterprise episode.
