This is an original production-made Bat'leth Sharpener that was designed and produced for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The few of these produced never made it to the studio and did not appear in an episode. It was acquired directly from HMS Creative Studios during an open-house sales event of spare and left-over items.
A lighted version did show up in the 5th season episode 'In Purgatory's Shadow' as a Mek'leth sharpener. A screen-cap is provided here for reference.
