The Boxtrolls, Banquet Table

A young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. The 2014 Laika stop motion film The Boxtrolls is based on the children's novel “Here Be Monsters” by Alan Snow. This is a beautifully decorated screen used banquet table piled with cheese from the banquet scene of the film. With cheese being so important to the characters of Lord Portley-Rind and Archibald Snatcher, its fun to see how it was featured everywhere in the movie. This group of props is shown in the book The Art of Boxtrolls by Phillip Brotherton (page 148) and measures approximately 30" x 12".
