The Legend of Bagger Vance, Bagger Vance's screen used Hero boots

This shirt and pair of boots were worn by the character Bagger Vance portrayed by actor Will Smith in the 2000 motion picture “The Legend of Bagger Vance” starring Matt Damon and Charlize Theron. Mr. Smith wore the boots in his first on screen appearance and several subsequent scenes before switching to a pair of golf shoes given to him by Rannulph Junnah (portrayed by Damon). Mr. Smith wore the shirt in multiple scenes throughout the film including his first onscreen appearance when he shows up in the middle of the night and begins teaching Junnah how to regain his lost golf swing before making a deal to become his caddy for a fee of $5.00. He also wore the shirt while caddying the final golf game that Junnah wins after Bagger walks away down the beach.
The gray long sleeve collared vintage style shirt was custom made for Mr. Smith’s use in the film by Anto of Beverly Hills and is complete with the custom tailoring label with the actor’s initials “W.S.” and production date “Sept. 1999”. The garment has a faint diamond pattern weaved texture and was slightly hand distressed by costumers for use in the production. The dark reddish brown period work boots were also hand distressed by costumers and have an interior taped label inside with “Bagger #1” handwritten in black ink.
