Dinosaurs, Baby Sinclair’s Oversized Baby Bottle
original movie prop
This 10” x 4” prop is one of Baby Sinclair’s oversized baby bottles used in the 1991 Jim Henson-produced televsion series Dinosaurs. Made of plastic and rubber, this type of bottle can be seen in the episode “Out of the Frying Pan,” when Baby becomes famous by doing frying pan commercials. His overnight fame causes him to have an over-inflated image of himself, making Baby turn to his mother and say in true Hollywood fashion, “You’ll never serve juice in this town again!” This is not your typical grape juice, however, as the other side of the label reads: OTS STAGE ONE 100% MEAT. Voiced and puppeteered by Kevin Clash, who is best known as the voice of Elmo on Sesame Street and Splinter in the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, Baby Sinclair practically stole the show with his popular catchphrases “I’m the baby, gotta love me” and “NOT THE MAMA!”
