This Is My Blade Runner Snub Blaster. Got this from Rick Ross about a month ago in November of 2007.
I wanted A deferent Color scheme than that of the Standard so A was able to get some BLUE grips from Rick, and as you can see I replaced the side knob with the larger version from one of rick's magnum kits, looks really killer. As a bonus, I was offered A nice! metal screen accurate Weaver Knob, Thanks Paul E. Smith, It Looks Awesome!
As for the painting, I decided to have A Base color of Gloss white in stead of black, than I used Some Silver Rub-N-Buff on that. It actually looks pretty cool, looks used and Aged. after that I added some Black wash to the wording and some deep areas. The grip trim was done with the silver over flat black. for an added touch I rubbed some places with some gold for some more color and also painted the fake screws with flat black and a touch of gold.
In stead of using the standard way to hookup the LEDS via the instructions,I decided to add extra LEDs (Blue) to the ammo clip and add LEDs to the side rode.To do this I had to get some higher capacity batteries (2 12V 23A's) instead of 4 1.5V cells the manual called for. I am vary happy with the result, considering this is my first attempt at An Electronic Circuit built from scratch.
