The NeverEnding Story, Auryn Custom display

This are my Auryn replicas safely stored in my Custom display case.

The Auryn on the left Is A solid Sterling Silver version with 14K gold PL with A very nice sterling rope chain. The Auryn on the right is an Official Bavaria Bronze/Copper version from the memorabilia store where the movie was filmed. I added a very nice Solid copper rope chain for this one. The center Auryn Is A painted gold and silver resin replica believed to be cast directly from an original, it has no markings on the back, just flat.

As for my case, I did some major modifications to make it look some what like the book in the movie by resurfacing the inside with black and brown false leather(felt), painted the sides gold, painted the gold frame banding, added brass corners and painted a tattoo version of the Auryn in black with green and red jewel eyes.
I am very happy how well this project turned out and that it looks so good.
