This is a resin sword from the statue of the Archangel Michael from the church scene final battle, the statue is broken and falls when the beast form of Satan arrives, the remains of the statue lay on the floor with the sword pointing out, when Jericho is possessed by Satan, to save Christine, and prevent the end of days coming to be, Jericho takes his own life by jumping onto the sword, impaling himself and sending Satan back to hell.
