The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Arcana Cabana Skull

So I got a new prop a while ago, around Halloween. It was from the film the sorcerer's apprentice. The skull was on eBay, but it was before the film came out. The story I got was it was a rare book store out in TX that rented out a bunch of stuff to the production, and they were selling the items when they got them back. The only paperwork it had was a COA issued by them (BTW the worse looking one I have EVER seen in my life, made with clip art I think). The cost was low so I said “what the hell, it looks cool and will go nice as Halloween decoration.” So when the movie came out I could not find it anywhere in the film. I just said oh well, Just another prop mystery. Real or not, who knows?

Now fast-forward to a week ago. My local borders went out of business and I found “The Art and Making of The Sorcerer's Apprentice” dirt cheap. I love that series of books, kind of cool to see all the production info on the films. So as I am looking at it I come to the section of the Arcana Cabana, and what do I see in the middle picture, the scull that’s sitting in one of my display case. The place where it was in the film was full of so much stuff, and out of all the images they could have picked to put in the book, they put the one with my skull in it. I was excited that I could finally put that mystery to rest.

Sorry for the long winded story but I found it kind of interesting.
